Kwe' will always technically be a dope emcee. Unfortunately, his style will never be accepted by the wide mainstream mainly because frankly his delivery is fucking boring. Not Common boring but shit's real close. I was a fan of his growing up - I still think Train of Thought was one of the sickest albums to drop in the early 2000's. However, his style has gone stale and it's sad. What's even more sad is him using the Jay-Z line in this song like a groupie ho like OMG JAY-Z MENTIONED ME IN A SONG I BETTER USE THIS TO GAIN MORE FANS.
Who cares about mainstream.. you are right about his delivery though. Kind of boring. But at the very least he's not doing what Common is doing.. fucking sell out!!
